The popular streaming service Pandora is on the rise.
The company recently acquired its competitor Rdio, introduced a new monthly subscription feature called Pandora Plus, and unveiled a new logo and rebrand. Napier Lopez, author at The Next Web, details the brand’s new image and what it means for the company.
Their new look is a vast improvement from its previously outdated logo. The clean design is more aesthetically appealing and includes flexible new guidelines that allow for colorful overlays and more variety.
The change is likely part of their plan to compete against Spotify and Apple Music. The service is evolving from suggestion-based radio with a full, unlimited streaming plan that will better position them against their rivals.
The new logo is now live across Pandora’s mobile apps and will be fully integrated across all channels later this year. Watch the commercial for their rebranding campaign below.
